Any good boat cover maker or upholstery shop can make you one. Mine is very heavy duty and has a ratchet strap that goes around it so i can tighten it down. I tow with it on to keep from loosing items that i carry in the machine. Just another little tip: if you have a windshield tie it down separately to keep it from flying back and making a mess and it keeps the hood from flying off also. You may know this already but i thought i would just mention it.

It kills me to spend good money on a fancy cover, so I'll probably do something like that, Noel. Though I have to say, it's been some time since I've seen a canvas tent . Have to hit some garage sales. You boys have army surplus on every other corner, we don't. I think our army's still using your surplus....

I have a space problem too. 5 machines and space barely for 4 means one is outside. I use an old canvas tent to cover that machine, I also have some army surplus camo net spacers, which go under the tent to get some slope and drainage. The old tent cost $20, and the spacers were $24. In lieu of the spacers you could just use old buckets, or lumber scraps to get the same effect.

Yeah, good point...I did that last year for a quad, but it's not big enough for the Argo. I need a garage. Hell, I need a quonset.

I'll go with a cheapo tarp for now, I guess. That's what i did last night when I brought it home, luckily...unexpected thunderstorm came along, would have filled it up for sure! I know I can always drain it...but it's so purdy right now, all shined and lubed....

why purches a cover when you could build a leanto for the same price. heck mine is made from old pallets and some leftover shingles from the last roof job. 3 sides and a roof is all you need

    started a topic Argo Cover

    Argo Cover

Hey all, just picked up my first Argo, 2007 Avenger. Soon as I get a new throttle cable on it, I'll be testing it out in our beaver pond! I'm in Alberta, Canada.

Question though...I see this has been asked before but not recently...those of you who don't have indoor space for your rig, what kind of cover do you use? I hear the OEM cover isn't great...anyone have a line on a source for something reasonably priced? Any body use the Adair cover? Mine doesn't really have to survive trailering, just want to keep the rain (and snow) out!
    Great site, great info...thanks!

    Cheers,
    dt
