There's somethin' to be said for a big-bore, fire-breathin' two-stroke! Sounds like you're having some good old-fashioned (literally) fun!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

    (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

They're the one of the fastest production AATVs ever made. Sounds like you're having a blast with it. Now I'm really pumped to get my green Superchief finished.

Nice story there North Country. Funny thing, I had to change some things recently and move the Wild Wolf out of storage. That turned into several hours of riding. It may not be a "SC' but the 400 single moves it well! I gained some new inspiration!

Yeah NCT,ain't that the truth! I have a very capable Argo Conquest that, anymore, just sits in the shed and only goes out on the "wanna have a good time and don't want to take the toolbox" outings. My SC is a Kohler 4 stroke but being so light and nimble compared to the Argo,it is always the vehicle of choice when it's time to go riding!

Sounds like a case of 2 stroke fever.

All that has been said is true, somewhere along the line I lost the AATV passion and traded it for functionality, times had changed and the Argo became a necessity in the north so for me it went from fun toy to tried and true bush tractor, dont get me wrong it was still fun to go out collecting firewood transporting deceased Bambi,s and the fishing excursions to the back lakes but tearing up the trail mud in the air and the smell of Castrol R in the air gives me wood,or perhaps thats the blue pill not the blue smoke.NCT

Psht. Heck NCT, you should make a concerted effort to get down to Pine Lake next late Spring/ Summer. If you're getting this excited just bombing around the trails, you should try it with about a dozen other junkies whizzing around the track with woo.... uhhhh... "excitement". There are a lot of competitive folks out there on the track, but even we casual-competers have a great time in the middle of the pack. You're a prime example of what a lot of speed junkies try to convert over to the Dark Side. You pick up a nice Superchief and start to regain the feel of real performance, and next you know, you're building a roll cage. You can always keep your pristine SC the way it is. Pick up another decent frame/body and let your imagination and Blue-Pill-Magic run wild.

Just keep a box of Kleenex nearby for cleanup.

H- Mike I still have the competitive spirit even at my approach to Geezerdome, and a 1000ish cc nitrous triple that would give a T 20 fits sitting in a dormant sled, but this SC is destined to be a frame up resto too nice to hack and I would have to listen to Gus,once I get the new ranch up and running smooth for my significant other I intend to search and rescue another and see what happens, you know better than me.Cheers NCT
