  • The 'Lil Truck on Tracks (track info for Attex owners)

I got my tracks on my Attex 'Lil Truck today and I'm very pleased with how everything came together. I wanted to post some information in case anyone was thinking of doing the same thing.

-First, I used 8x7 wheels with 18x9.5x8 turf tires.
-I have 27 track links per side, for a total of 54 track links.
-I used factory 2.5" Argo wheel spacers. You could use 2" spacers, since they would offer sufficient clearance from the body as well.
-You would obviously have to route your exhaust up, not through the standard side exit between the tires if yours is set up this way......most Attexes are besides Lil Trucks and factory track machines.

Hope this helps anyone looking to run tracks on their Attex. PS-these are the "standard Argo tracks" which are still available today.

Yes, absolutely, it only took about 3 years for me to finally get them on a machine. I'm interested to see how they do in the snow.

          Way cool!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

          (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

I'll tell 'ya, Tim; The absence of any cold air up here so far this fall reminds me a lot of what last winter looked like in WNY. JP might have to suck it up and see how they do in the mud.
Anyway, the 'Truck looks great! The rims are blingin'. I hope to see what these plastic tracks can do on an Attex. I need inspiration...
