  • How to attach top tub to bottom tub?

When I took the body apart there where staples holding it together, sort of along with that rubber gasket\bumper. Any ideas how to join the upper and lower tubs? I'd like to use the staples just not sure what size staple and what kind of gun you would need.

I am planning on building a body band for my Attex and using bolts and some abs goo to hold the 2 halfs together. I've saw some photos on here of members using rivets to hold the 2 halfs together. Don't know about the staples tho I'd be interested in finding out my self.

Currently I have my attex torn down doing a referb... I think I would shy away from the abs goo and lean more towards bolts and 3M window foam tape (not sure the actual name). Once you goo splitting the halves would be quite difficult. Just my 0.02.

A steel body band and bolts would be the best.
It will stiffen the body and protect it if you hit a tree or whatever.
Also makes it easy to add a bush bar, winch, rops or bumpers.

When I did my colt racer, I used a bit of goo, drilled holes and put rivets in them, and then I mounted my roll cage/belly band with bolts.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

The combination of goo and pop rivets is the best way to do it.
