Hi all, been a while since I have been here. I have the frame and driveline of my 208tt ready to go. I mixed up some goo and made a few repairs to the body. Now I am trying to get the body looking decent. It is faded and oxidized and has dark streaks through it. I tried using some 100 g paper with an orbital sander and it just is not evening out. If I rub it with acetone it gets streaky and just not uniform in color. Is there anything else I could try? Anyone have any luck painting them? I really want to get this thing back together!!

It looks like the darker streaks could be from dirty/oxidized parts of the body getting melted into the plastic after the abs treatment. Try pressure washing the grime off, then sanding it, then once it's clean do the acetone treatment again and the yellow color should be nice and consistent throughout."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"
