  • Attex Tub

Good day all. Im in progress in a rebuild of a Attex, with a JLO 400.
I just picked up a Attex terrain Tamer parts machine. I think I will make a trailer from it. It has no powerplant, and the bakerhill 5000, (no reverse)
    The trans looks seized,
I had a few questions for the forum.
    1) anyone know what happend to the Attex vacuum forming equipment and jiggs ?
    2) has anyone ever used a tub to make a foam form and lay up a new tub from fiberglass or carbon fiber? And how would these materiels work out?
    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the molds are no longer in existence. Matt O. is making a lower tub mold sometime in the future.

I to have wondered about using a tub to make new molds. If I had the time and extra resources I would give it a try. If someone made new ones I am sure that someone would be interested in buying them. A carbon fiber Attex would be sweet looking.

Matt O. is remaking the Attex lower tub sometime in the future, he has a perfect NOS lower to work off of along with a full fiberglass room.

Carbon fiber would be awesome, but I doubt anyone is willing to spend $30,000+ for a lower. Not only would the tub be expensive, but you have to order sheets of material rather than a little piece.
