  • Thought I would share something kind of neat

I am restoring an old Attex 297 and had to pull the top half off of the machine and found this on the underside. Kind of cool don't you think? The machine had never been apart before so I can only guess that it was put there by someone at the factory when the machine was originally built. The only thing that I can guess is someone was adding up the hours that they worked. I guess that because at the end of one of the numbers it has an "hrs" written. What do you guys think it is?

It is hard to say. Somebody was definitely figuring some hours for something. Your guess that it was one of the Attex workers is as good as any, especially if it truly has never been disassembled before.
