  • Nice Ride

Whipper, sounds good and seems to run real smooth. I guess your ready for the big ride.

    Lewis
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

    • Sweet. Morning coffee and a virtual hot rod run.. I was wearing a big riding with ya.

      • Awesome as usual. I was paying attention to your laterals, looks like there is very little play with your new set-up, very precise looking.....

        • Introducing.......The Apache!

          East Coast is now "represent'n"

Well, for those folks who were not at the Ledges Event, Whipper, Bridget and I unveiled a little surprise. Here's my springer. It's been in the works since November. Assembly started in March and was finished just before my trip across the country. I got about an hour and a half of drive time with a JLO 340 in it. It's a blast!! I love it. I'm still cringing as I approach each bump and gully but I'm quickly learning that all I have to do it relax and have fun.

I threw a G50B into it just before packing up for Ledges. Unfortunately the engine developed ignition problems shortly after getting there. One photo was taken in June, the other was taken at Ledges.

          • The Springers are spreading! The Springers are spreading!

That looks like one fun ride. Congratulations on the springer. Do you have a hard time keeping George out of it?

                • Hey Joe,

It's my intention to have it there. I need to buy a trailer wide enough to haul it. I borrowed a buddy's but I think I should get my own.

Any member from 6x6World is welcome to get behind the sticks and try it out.

Nice ride, and now there are (4). Way to go!

Sounds like it was a fun for all. Maybe next year a few of us Carolina Boys can make the trip.

Already enjoying the videos and pictures.
                    Keep them coming!

                    • Hope you can bring it, George. I look forward to giving it a try! I'll have the Surtrek there and maybe the Scrambler, too. Ditto, on trying it out... Any 6x6 member that wants to, can give the Surtrek a try!

Well Mike, he was a bit leery in June but since he took the Yellow Spider out this weekend, I think I will be sharing a bit more than I'd like.
