McKay racer

I am new here and read about the McKay racer. Can I get a little back ground on this machine? It would be cool if it was one of Ronnie or Roger McKay's racing machines. I am friends with the McKay family and they might find some intrest in it.

Hey, Shawn;

I'm afraid I don't know the complete history of the machine except that it was one of the McKay family machines and ran D-stock. I bought it, along with a bunch of other parts, as a complete "basket case" a few years ago and put it back together like a puzzle. I remember the McKays from the NATVA but I think I was away from the sport by the time this D-stock was built.

Thanks, I'll check with Ron, He may be able to shed some light on it. One thing I do know from hanging around the race shop is these guys built some really fast stuff and drove them WFO.
