Hello, my name is brian. I'm new to this site. I just bought an attex super chief for 500. The engine is not running now. Seller told me it doesn't have spark. I want to swap this engine with no response reliable 4 cycle engine from honda atv 350. Is this possible?

Hello Brian, welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with the Honda 350 motor so I can't directly help you there. Overall, some of the concerns you may have is the lack of cooling down in the Attex body compared to the Honda ATV. The powerband may not be ideal and you may have issues adapting a clutch to work properly. There are a lot of cheap, reliable four strokes that will work in an Attex and I would probably look to some of those that are more commonly used.

Those Super Chiefs are real screamers. I would look for a replacement engine that's a two stroke.Comment

Fix that motor that's in there!! You'll be impressed!! Depending on what kinda riding your gonna do though.2 strokes fast not a lot of pulling power.4 strokes are great for reliability and trail riding etc. good luck����Comment
