Hello,
I would like to understand the disc brake on the front axle:
What pads are used (I came across a reference to Chevy S10 fronts, but I could have mixed it up)?
What does the circuit include? Looks like there is an equalization with the spring loaded mechanism intended. Do pads sit on either side of the disc, how are they attached?
Anyone runs their machines without those brakes, just using the transmission brake bands? Also found a reference cautioning the use going downhill, anyone ever tipped over?
