  • Help Identifying Attex

I recently did some work for someone, and took this as payment. Serial numbers are gone on engine and the frame.

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the model and what engine. See the attached pictures. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Very hard to tell from the pics, possibly a rebodied chief, thunderchief or other 4 chained machine.

Did you get the RIM also?

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

By the look of the engine mount, it was most likely a Chief or Thunderchief like Jim says. You should be able to find a cast-in number on the bottom flange of the cylinders that tell you if the engine is a 400 or 440. The body is later- much more sturdy HDPE plastic. Machine has real potential: nice find!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

      (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far
