i got the t-20 set back in the racer at lunch today, gonna pull the short chains tonight (6 chain setup) how tight should the short chains from the t-20 be? can you pull the trans up in the front slots to take up slack, or will it just pull it's self back down?

I don't think you'll be able to use the slots for adjustment. You'll need some kind of idler. I made a plate to bolt to the frame with holes to match the T-20 studs. That will keep it down in the slots. Unless you fab some sort of sliding tranny mount, you won't have any adjustment. Your chains will strech after awhile. I'm working on that same problem with the Max IV springer. I'll post some picks when I get it done.

thanks whipper... after i posted i did the smart thing and read the owners manual that i got with the machine, on how to adjust it... but it doesn't say how tight they should be. all it states is "do not overtighten or dammage can occour"
