ok i'm hoping its not just me. but i fired my attex up for the first time and tried to steer it. and noticed by pushing the lever forward say left side it locks say the outer left side brake. pull it backwards and it locks the inner left side brake. is this normal? i'm assuming its some type of power transfer system one way allows freewheel and the other locks the brake. am i correct? or do i just have sticky brakes? my first time ever driving one so any pointers would be helpfull. i only have one tire on each side actually driving the unit due to bad bearings on the other wheels. which i'm slowly trying to replace. thanks guys this site is awsome. steve

Hi Steve: I believe you have a Baker Hill Tranny, your Attex is a st300, right? I have not had one personally, but go to "How To's" at the top of this page, then "AATV Transmission Articles". There's an article on your tranny and also one on freeing up the calipers. Hope that gets you goingAttex 295 Wild Wolf: sigpic My Runner

Hey, Steve;
When you push the stick forward, it should hold the inside disc, forcing the outer disc to turn and drive the chains. When you pull back, it should release the inner disc and hold the outer to stop the chains.
