    down on the farm

    got together with McCoy today for a short ride at his farm. the worst issue i found with the machine was a leaky gas cap... hence most of my helmet cam footage is really blurry due to fuel/oil on the lens. machine ran perfect, no plug fouling and the belt only rubbed a tiny bit. i had a tire issue, but that's par for the course when i ride got her in the air several times, but that's some of the lost footage McCoy tells me that the machine will easily sling a 20 foot rooster tail of cow s#*@

    p.s. Don, McCoy asked about the mirrors after we rode, and i had to admit that i've still never looked at them

          i knew you were right Don... i used to race dirt modifieds, and 1 track required us to run a mirror. i could never find a place to mount it that it didn't block my forward sight at some point, so i'd loosen my belts on the pace laps and rip it off... then i could toss it out mid race if i needed a caution i spent a lot of time in junkyards getting mirrors that year.

          george, i didn't even bring the regular camera, and the helmet cam footage is junk. there was a lot of fuel spraying in my face for most of the ride. your in charge of pictures anyway... where were you???

              Glad she ran out good there Race. Cow manure rooster tails At least that will keep people from following to close. Here's Mud in you eye.

              Glad it all work out. Did you find the cause of the belt rub?

                Brian, a co-worker was just telling me "I saw a 6 wheeler this weekend in the back of a truck on the interstate". I pulled up a picture of your Attex and he said that was the one he saw. I guess he passed you somewhere Sunday maybe on 77.

                  awesome! anything to raise awareness. i'm thinking of making a sign "old six wheelers wanted" with my phone # on it and putting it on the back gate of the trailer. i know they are out there... just have to keep digging them out.

                  lewis, not sure on the belt rub... tightened the left rear chain a bit and that seems to have done it. chains a bit tighter than i'd like, but i'd rather wear it quick than shred a belt at speed!
