I believe they use the newer style hood.

The guy I got it from bought it to replace his cover but never did. He just tossed it in barn and it sat there for "long time". Another theory I have is maybe a company was making them aftermarket? Im not sure, just puzzeling.

There are no corners left and a big piece missing from the rear. The usual vertical cracks by the exhaust but the top looks nice.

The top does look pretty brown, but I think it's faded a little. The thing's 40 years old, I guess it has a reason!

I swear it looks brown to me, maybe the camera made it look green??? Partial Color blindness is ussually not a big deal to me but now it sucks, lol.

Wow! Nice find, Larry. I've only seen a handful of first generation green Attex 6x6's. One I believe was an ST/300/D, and it was owned by a 6x6World member who built the frame into an all aluminum bodied, T-20/liquid cooled snowmobile engine equipped rig. I think his name is Outlaw Off Road and the project was called, "Joie's Toy." If I remember correctly it was rebuilt because the body was cracked beyond repair. Another green machine was this green 208TT on ebay, but these used a different engine cover.

Maybe someone out there in 6x6World could use it.

That's beautiful. I don't think they made very many green ST300Ds.

    Larry,

Did you take these pictures? It could be the way the camera is set is changing the appearance. As far as I know, they only came in yellow and green except in 1976 when the yellow was almost orange.
