Hows everyone in 6x6 World ? I was just outside working on splitting the body of my Thunderchief not a good idea when its only 35 degrees out, as soon as I stuck my little screwdriver between the 2 body halves to wiggle the staples free! CRACK! So I decided that would have to wait. I was trying to get it apart so I could one half at a time, to my friends house, he has something I don't a heated garage. It was nothing major but enough to say stop.

      Finally apart!

Hey Folks; The Thunderchief is finally stripped, the body is split and ready for extensive plastic work. Thats always fun! the frame will be sandblasted this weekend and all brackets. Axles were a pain but I did'nt have to resort to the torch, just some added patience. I found out before I got it apart that my inner and outer bearings are the same, after some searching, my boss handed me a catalog from Bailey's they deal mostly hydraulic stuff, but they carry alot of bearings and they have sales all the time, my bearings 3.77 apeice not to bad! They are wholesale so I think they only deal with buisnesses, so if you have a tax # you're set. If anyone is running 10 in. wheels Small Engine Distributors has Kenda Dirt Dogs in 22x11x10 and 25x12x10 19.95$ and 21.95$ cheaper the more you buy , this place is also wholesale so you need to be a buisness or know someone whose # you can use! Websites are baileysnet.net and sedkc.com! Talk to ya's later!
