  • The st300 moves again.

I bought the st300 for parts mainly for my 225/hustler. But the hubs and sprocket tubes are rusted solid. So I decide I would put a 8hp tecumseh in it to brake the hubs/sprockets free, running them with no pins/bolts. The exhaust and tank are slightly rigged but so far 2 hubs and 1 sprocket tube loose. Been a fun ride though, those balloons and rubber mounted engine make it so nice to ride. It will be my back up ride at "The Mounds". Unless arm08kn drives it.

My plans are to eventually put this engine in my beloved 208tt and the 16 in the 208 will go to the scrambler. Rest of st300 will go to 225/hustler. The body is really ruff on this one.

Nice work, Larry! I wish my 1st generation Attex would come together as fast as yours did.

That may turn out to be a nice little machine for the youngsters to run, Larry. I particularly like the "periscope" exhaust!
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

      (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Yea, I actually gave it to little LarryW. I figured it would be a good one for him to develope his skills in, crashing into whatever. Though he does alot better then I think he does.

The periscope exhaust is no longer. I bought new muffler and shorter water pipe and lowered it. Has a slight angle to drivers side so it wont burn the plastic but will fit with the 208 hood.
