What about these for inner bearings. They look heavier than what was on it and have grease fittings.

It dont say "L" width. Make sure its wide or it wont work and you will have to space the whole flange closer to the axle. Trust me, I had to do that once when i was careless at ordering my bearings. Another issue is possibly clearance on top and bottom. The oem flanges are flat. But if that works then should be a nice one to run.

I talked to John at Buffalo Bearing, great people there, I think I will just deal with them on the bearings.

This Loctite Freeze and release seems to work good, always was a PB Blaster guy, but this stuff seams to have its place on the shelf. My friendly local Grainger sales rep hooked me up with a couple of sample cans.

Even got the local kids to help with the Attex.

I cant help but think I want to do a camo paint job on the thing, My main purpous for wanting it is for hunting and I think as a duck blind Yellow is not the best choice. Thinking a 2 tone brown. Besides I think when I get done fixing all the cracks it wont be all yellow any more.

Ok, made a jig to help cut the blanks for the adapters for the hubs, cut 1 and going to see how it works.

If it worked will post a pic of the jig tommorrow.

What size wheel studs or bolts are used for golfcart rims? Was thinking of using 3/8-16 bolts with no guidance.

Most wheel studs are 7/16 NF check with your NAPA or auto parts store for yours studs.

                      Thanks Paws!

Next question, how many feet of #40 chain should I need to do the ST300D?

Just ordered a plastic welding kit to repair the cracks in the body.

Ok, played with it a little more, did some sanding, it really is yellow under there!

Started on the seats, used some foam I had at work, some scrap plywood, and some plastic sheeting I use to Shrinkwrap boats, and some fabric I had for redoing the interior of my Baja Bug.

Does this look right? Or do the bottom corners need something done?

That fabric is what USMC uniforms are made of
Sprayed some waterproofer on it too.

Well I got to play a little yesterday morning with the plastic welding kit from bay. I need more practice. But I did discover that a quick pass does a remarkable change to the plastic,t brings the color back out. I am looking for yellow ABS plastic scraps to make welding rods from if anyone has a junk body laying around.

I just got 10' of #40 chain, is that going to be enough or do I need more?

You'll need 2 more 10' rolls of chain to do the entire machine. You'll have a little left over.......save it for any repairs that you might need to make down the road.
