Interesting choice of color. Dont believe I have ever seen one blue. It will blend in with all those max's that are suppose to be so rare.

      Looks good.

Just a suggestion but if you have a welder, you could reinforce the frame with some extra braces. The paper thin inner rails are fragile and anything you can do to reinforce them near the inner bearings wont hurt. If your stock threaded clips on the axle bearing bolts are gone or ruined weld in some 1/4-20 nuts on the inside of the outer frame rail. Makes it a lot easier to install and remove the axles. Expeciallly the lower one which is a differant design but it rust it will spin and rip out. Its a hard one to get to. Make sure there lined up in the right spot buy stalling the axle/bearing on the frame before welding.

Also if you want a hitch, good time to make the mount on the frame for it to attach to.

          Thanks

Thanks I do appreciate the input.
I do have all the original clips and all the lower nuts seem to be in great condition. The welds on this machine have surprisingly withstood time very well.
I do believe a hitch will be needed because Im sure more than once I will need to be pulled from the muck.
Was going Hunter green but too many already so just to stand out a bit Im going with the dark blue. Basically just trying to have some fun with it so that it doenst turn into work instead of fun.

No, not for that. For pulling quads out. It also works for pulling a 1998 argo response 8x8 out too.
            Sorry Dave.
