Slowly but with steady resolve i am making progress with the Crush. I have had a bugger of a time with the throttle make-up to go from a single carb to twins. Evidently they went the way of the dinosaur also. Still have a little work there but it is next on the punch list to finish. Splitters are hard to come by these days and member Don helped me find another one on line. Thanks again Don. Sent the whole thing out to have another one made and they can't make a copy, they don't have this and they don't have that. So i just told them to send it back. Professionals. So i have more cable coming and i will make it myself.

Had to do mods to the motor cover to keep the air flow where it will cool down the engine as designed has been fun. Rerouting this and that has been through several changes but it has been a blast. The Mikunis i used have a side throttle unlike the traditional Mikunis, so this is where the challenge began. Obtaining the right throw distance has been fun. Cut down the handle about 18 degrees to make it all work. Posted up a few pictures as to the progress. Have learned a lot about the construction of throttles in the past few months.

yes, it's a kit that you add to an existing machine. They are built by member "Whipper-ag". He has built them for Max II, Max IV, and Some, but not all body styles of Attex machines. Here is the original thread which outlines a ton of the R&D that he put into the kits: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/attex...-springer.html There are build threads on all but one of the machines out there (George kept his a secret), and a search for "springer" will find all of them

You are going to be blowing by everyone else. Perhaps you should rename it the Carolina Orange Blur?

OK. the dripping was water condensing off the carbs the factory 2 barrel carb did the same thing. Humidity around here is rough.
That is the 600 racing dyno body where they install engines to dyno them. 600 Racing is where i bought the engine from but it is no longer a Bando engine per say. The block and crank are the only things left from the original Bando and since they had no wear on them i am saving them for a latter upgrade.

Wow that sounds mean lewis. What was dripping right before the camera fell over. There was something that appeared to drip down at a constant rate, and it looked to be coming from around where the carb is. At first I thought it was a light, and maybe it was a timing light. IDK because my wife would kill me if I payed to get my engine dyno'd. Also, where'd the little cart come from that the engine was in. Don't tell me you have that just so you can dyno your motors.

The new Heart for the Crush

Almost finished with the Carolina Orange Crush again. Due to some unforeseen problems it took a little longer to get all things together. Still have a few more items to work out but we are about 97% done. Will be getting a printout next week when the final dyno is completed. Then i get to drive the Crush again. Can't wait. So here is a short video of the engine in the dyno and it's performance so far. Hope you enjoy.
No bad for a lawnmower engine.
