  • Wow, Lewis- lots of progress in a short time. I guess you weren't kidding about R13 pushing your limits! Looks great!

          • Whipper & I went on the annual 400 Miler he's been doing for 30 years this past weekend & didn't get back home till late yesterday. Didn't get a chance to check the site until this morning, but couldn't get to the site to see what was new until now
Glad to hear the little tease video & glad to see it coming together with the help of your partner in crime. I, for one, am not so worried about The Crush being ready for Ashtabula now.

            • Lots of items to finish up. I will be at it late tonight. Tomorrow and Monday. Very little time and a lot to do. Hope to have it running Monday. Then it's test drive time

              • Lewis, that looks amazing! I know those pictures don't do that Tangelo Orange color justice.......I can't wait to see that in person. That is one of my favorites, I think House of Kolors makes that paint if I'm not mistaken. They have really nice paint. And by the way, those tires look great. Everything on this machine clicks, excellent work Lewis!!!

I was like Joe M. and Swift....I spent a good 14 hours away from the computer so I could get my machines ready for Ashtabula. It looks like I missed a lot!!!

Wow!!!! Man you really must have put in a marathon day too. The Crush looks great! I can't wait to see it in person, and you too.

                            Nice job.

Most of the year the weather is so crappy up here in the northeast I'm on the computer a lot more, but once it gets nice its time to use every minute of daylight to work, work, work!

Hey Lewis, I can't wait to see how those tires do. I think they're going to work great.......they look amazing, especially on those rims! While we're getting some practice laps in on that Friday before the races, it would probably be a good time to experimenting with what tread direction will work best. I'm going to try running the V's forward for a change and see what happens.

                              • Thanks for all the kind comments, i have had a great time building this machine and have had a lot of help from a long list of members.

JP, that sounds like a good idea. There are a few go-kart tracks around and hopefully i will get to turn a few laps to do a little fine tuning and tire testing. This sport is more fun than a barrel of monkeys Zoooooom-Zoooooo-Zoooooo!
