Winch on an attex

Was wondering if anyone has mounted a winch on their Attex? What is behind the front peice of body that is rivited on? Was that designed to be removed for a winch mount or is it just an access to the fuel tank? I have a 79 Superchief.

Its a recess in the plastic for a winch. It is not a mount. You will need to fabricate a steel plate to mount your winch in the recess.
