So I have an oppurtunity to pick up and 1970 Attex Chief 400 2 seater for 300$. Is it worth it? Its partically ripped a part, but he says everything is there! Was this a decent machine for its time? Any info you guys can provide would be appreciated. Thanks Skidrowe!

If everything is really there and in good shape (that is the key) then to me that is worth $300. Have you seen it yet. If so, how disassembled is it? Does it have baloon tires or modern tires? Is everything rusted or in good condition? If the parts are in good shape, worst case, you could part it out and at least get your money back. It's hard to say without seeing it though.
