Help. new attex owner dont know if I should try to fix my engine jlo 297 no spark. or should I go with a new vanguard any advice will thanks.

Oh wow, you must have a first generation attex 297? The first model attex ever produced. Please post some pictures if you get a chance!
For your engine question, it really depends on you. If you dont mind mixing the oil in the gas and doing simple maintenance to it once in a while or the 2 stoke noise then I would leave it in and try to get the spark. If you can get it going it should be a very capable engine being able to do what ever you want with it. And of course that is also the cheapest way to go. If you would rather have more torque for climbing, etc... but not as much high end speed, then the 4 stroke swap might be what you want. It will cost some more but it should be a reliable engine with minimum maintenance. And 4 stokes still make noise. Either way you go, good luck with it and would love to see pictures of it as it progresses!
