I bought a supertrapp quite muffler for my tomohawk I'm going to put heat shield on the side of the tub and bottum of the engine cover in addition to the heat shield that was already around my exhaust. Mine came from the factory to run tracks and the side hole in the between the wheels was plugged up with stock hdpe. Make sure you plug the original muffler hole so you still float. Btw my gallery shows my factory heat shield.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

You can make one out of the stock between-the-wheels muffler and a small sheet of 1/16" sheet steel. I've done it for a couple machines, so most anyone should be able to.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
(6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

I have a chaparall/xenoah tuned pipe that actually came out of a Hustler with a G50b (i think). The pipe has been cut and turned 90 degrees and rewelded, by Hustler, i presume. It's not "c" shaped like a stock one, if that makes any sense????? The pipe would go to the left of motor, up, and then turn parallel with the machine, with actual exhaust exiting left. I can post a pic, that might be easier. You would need a "Y" pipe that has a cup on the end, because the pipe uses ball/cup and spring mounts. It's a better pipe than a stock attex one, louder tho. Just a thought, if you are interested I'd let it go.sigpic Attex, there is no substitute
