air cleaner on a SC attex

what kind do you use is it a oil bath type I have not had chance to even see how you get it out of the rear of the sc?

It is just a typical paper filter setup. What you will find when you take it apart is a large whad of cotton like, multi-colored material packed all thru the inside. This would be the mouse nest.

L.D., as long as nobody has modified the stock setup, the air filter element comes out after taking off the three nuts that hold the air filter cover on.

Granted, I made a racer out of my SC. But, I just scrapped the stock setup and ordered a Uni air filter that would fit and let the chap breathe a little.

I went to a motorcycle dealer and bought a foam air filter that fits that size Mikuni. Just mounts by screw clamp. Easy to clean. You can clean it with dish soap and then mist it with offical air filter oil.

I removed my old filter set up completely.
