  • Just bought 2 colt

I've been workin on this deal all week, and finally made a sweet deal. One machine has a t20 in it needs an engine and lot of love. The other has a different trans in it and that may be the only salvageable part.

Got home late last night and didn't have the time to upload the photos I took with my phone. I still need to pick the machines up on Sunday.

        Thanks Marty,

it's going to take a lot f work but with a new power plant, the yellow one will be a runner again. I'm probably going to sell the baker hill out of the other one and strip it for parts. It's a shame the body on that one isn't better but for $250 for 2 machines it's still a great deal.

          Congrats Drew!!!
Sounds like a great deal! I curious on the green one and would like some more pictures of its possible? Im guessing that is a first gen lower with a second gen upper body. I dont see the right middle exhaust like a second gen would have so from what I can see the trans wasnt just swapped. I can see the upper was painted but what color was the lower body?

From what I can see, the yellow one has a nice body. At least it wasnt painted. It should buff out pretty nice!

The yellow one's body is pretty nice. It has one crappy patch job, but it should be easy to fix. I'll try and get some good pics of the green one up Sunday night. I have to go pick them up in the morning. Should be interesting as I have a small trailer that just fits the Tomahawk by itself on it. I'm thinking of stacking them or laying them on their sides. I hope I don't have to make 2 trips, but I already had to take Monday off work because the kids are off. So, it may end up being a good field trip for them to occupy the day.

colt daytime rear.jpgcolt daytime front.jpgcolt in air 2.jpgcolt in the air.jpg$250 Attexs trailered.jpgWell I made it down to pick up my new machines today. I only had seen them at night before and thought they were both colts due to the colt decal on the back of the green one, but the green one is actually a ST 340 R. The frame, transmission, gears, and axles are all salvageable from the green ST, but the frame is rusted through in spots on the colt. The body is ok on the colt, at least until it was lifted into the air and I noticed a big hole in the bottom of the tub. At least the t-20 spins freely and shifts into gears with ease, I'm going to have to strip the ST and get some of the parts sold quick to keep my wife from killing me.
