    im picking up 3 of the 4 attex i bought tomorrow 2 chief and a 1st gen.............then the last a 400 chief next week.....the 1st gen has no motor..and i thinking about turning that into a racer any thoughts from you guys...

    If you go back to the main forum page, and go down to the "Six Wheeling" section, there is a thread category called "6x6 Atv Racing" where you can get a lot of information on racers. I posted a thread very similar to your and I got some good feedback. But anyways, I have been told the later gen's hold up better than the first gens, but I say go for it if you want to! I seems like a lot of fun and I am thinking about building one myself. Good luck!

      You're much better off turning the second generation machine into a racer because it's wider, more stable, and better built, so there'll be less of a chance for something to break when you're racing. Trust me, I had a first generation Attex and got rid of it for a later model one that we put together.
