Ok. So i got my attex running just long enough to shred the stock firestone ballons off of it!
While it was a very fun ride, it is now an expensive repair. So before i go and spend a few hundred (if not thousands) on new wheels tires and adapters i thought i might rethink powerplant! Im not exactly sure of model because of the year they seem to all be same except motor it came with and the one thats in mine is hardly stock. It has a yamaha 433 twin 2stroke and i thought that this might be a bit much at first especially for a skid steer design but i saw the brochoure section and relized that some came with motors that big and is capable of 40-45 mph. While fun, can be a bit scary if a lever is pulled wrong at or close to top speed.
After some rumaging i found one of my old project motors, a 11hp honda single. Thought it would be much tamer but is it underpowered? If i decide to put it in, do I have to make spring mods to the clutches due to lower RPMs? It has a Borg T-20 so im sure nothing is wrong with it but if changing motor should i rebuild it to undue any torture marks that the 433 may have left? How do you know when a T-20 needs a rebuild?
I want to be able to take this thing most places and have plenty of power to climb anything as well as have a little speed so im not left behind. Any advise would be great. Thanks!

What road? I blaze my own trail!!!

Also, the only way that you'd spend in the $1000 range for a set of wheels and tires would be if you overpaid and went through Route6x6. There are MUCH cheaper alternatives that we can point you in the direction of here on 6X6World, just use the search feature on the site and you'll see. You would need a new drive clutch since the shafts are different on the two engines that you discussed. The driven clutch on the T-20 needs a 4 stroke spring on it as well. You can buy this directly through Recreatives.
