Attex tub deminsions?

Is there much difference in lower tubs between like the st series attexes 295,297,400 and so on? Are the engine cover the same also or does it matter what engine came in them?

The reason I ask is I was looking at the trainer and was thinking about borrowing some parts from the st295 I have at a quick glance they look a lot alike but I did have a tape close to check measurements.

First generation ST/300D, 297, 208/TT ST/340R, etc are completely different than later model Attexes because they're much narrower. The engine covers on the ST/295 and ST/400 are the same though. Hope this helps.

Is the width difference because of 4 chain vs 6 chain machine?
