Well george's little truck did, and I know attex seemed to piece things togethor at the end. There is even an urban legond that yellow tops and green bottoms were the only bodys left from attex at one point in time, so maybe more than you think.Originally posted by L.D.Bruce View Posthow many super chiefs came with yello top and green bottom. I would guess not manyl like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Like I said. Attex used whatever parts were lying around at the end. Whose to say it wasnt a 79 stamped frame thrown in a body in 1984. Nobody can say for sure what year any poly attex was assembled except for the orange body's unless you got it from the origional owners or have some sort of documented history. Also, people like me throw machines togethor using whatever parts are at hand. My colt racer uses a chief frame and tranny and wild wolf sprockets or at least thats where the parts came from. If your machine was painted who knows what other slight changes were made over the years.Originally posted by L.D.Bruce View Postmine was made in 1979l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

Drew is absolutely right. I've actually seen a good bit of green bottom/yellow upper Attexes. When they were sold new, you had the option to get them in all green, all yellow, or yellow top/green bottom."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

The only reason I don't think the machine has ever been changed is because it was owned by agricultural company that is in northern IN. and they etched the tub and trans with their name. I was not saying it was a rare combo I said I bet they did not make to many of them IMO not the best looking combo yellow green. At least they kept on making them with parts they had left some company's would have just trashed the parts closed the doors
