    should there be any movement of the bearing when flange is tight ?

    The bearing should not spin in the flange when the flanges are torqued down.

      what I see is without the axle inserted you can move it left and right it pivots in the flange

        It is self aligning so without an axle in it, it will pivot.

            LD Sounds like everything is coming together pretty quick.I think you will be very satisfied and more familiar with your machine when it is done.

              Got all the 4140 axles in today the rear sprokets both have gussets as do all the wheel hubs tomorrow is tire day getting the new ones mounted now all I lack is a good degreasing and the T-20 parts I broke which is starting to look like I may have to buy new "HINT GUYS"

                L.D. don't blame yourself for the broken pieces. I would say they were stressed before and happened to finish cracking while you had it apart. Even if you did do it, there is always that possibility and why take the blame.
                l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

                  How far do you guys run you axles in? In the past I stoped at the inside bearing this time I went past it 4 inch seems like it might put less strees on the frame if it was to flex
