Having messed with large construction equipment for over 40 years all I can say is close to 100% of everything I've pulled out has been wheeled equipment. Tracked equipment, almost never. I assume the same principle would apply here. The lower horsepower rating might be a factor on the Max. The only time I've been stuck with my Max (other than high centered) was in sand.

If you plan on climbing loose sand hills often tracks would be better. With tires most any attempt to turn will bury it on hills.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
