has anyone tried pulling an aatv to get it started ,you know like popping a clutch to start a manuel transmission when the battery is down, just wondering if it would work

It wouldn't work with most of them. The CVT system won't transfer power from driven to the drive clutches.Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

If you put your tranny in neutral, wrap a rope around the primary clutch on engine, it should start. I have started snowmobiles this way.Comment

I have started the Kohler 17hp engine several times with a rope. You must be careful though.Comment
