Playing Chicken With A Ranger

Yesterday, I took my son out to ride his dirtbike and I took my argo along so I could keep a close eye on him. There was a guy who brought out his Polaris Ranger side by side. Going along the trail, he kept ridind about a foot behind me. I kept speeding up, but he stayed right there trying to aggravate me becuase he definitely had more speed than I did. Finally, I had had enough and at full speed, I did a 180 and spun right around facing him. He missed me by about 3 inches and didn't know what to think. Needless to say, he didn't tailgate me anymore.

I ran across one this weekend too. He had two guys with him ridin Sportsmans with 29.5 Outlaws. One was stuck in a hole big time. A large 4x4 truck had to snatch three times before gettin out the Quad. Once removed I preceeded to walk right through the spot the monster quad fell dead. The Ranger knew better than to tread in my domain. I talked with the group for awhile. He said the Ranger would go about 40 or so.

The only thing I miss would be suspension. Other than that they were astounded at the ability of the Max. This was also right next to a DEEP water hole.. Yes I had to do it.. Now they all want one.

I guess we all have advantages and disadvantages. I certainly enjoy my advantages more than I am hassled with the disavantages of my Max.
