  • 8x8 grease

What kind of grease does everybody use in the winter time?

Lubri- plate MAG 1 is very good in cold and also water resistant. I've been experimenting with a Lucas red tacky from O Reileys . Appears to be good in water but gets real stiff below zero.

I live in northern Ontario so we have some pretty cold weather here

amsoil N.L.G.I. #1 grease, product code "GLB"
water resistant, better in cold weather.
I use their "GLB" to lube the outboard jet units at the end of the day too

          HI,
I found a SHELL grease suitable for underwater lubrication on ball bearings . Please refer there customer service as this grease is in there industrial section and typically refered to by part number alone . Interestingly SHELL was the company with the widest range of greases when i was looking .
