  • new trailer

I was forced to order a new trailer yesterday. I was borrowing a friends 16'. Loading the hustler sideways and conquest straight. He sold his trailer to buy a new goose-neck. I ordered it from the same people I got my other trailer. It is a 20' Diamond C open trailer. Tandem brake axles, folding rear ramp, spare tire and mount, expanded metal sides, wooded floor, pipe top rail. It should be in by the end of March, just in time for busco. I'll post some pics.

When I ordered my trailer they told me 6 weeks. I got a call from the trailer dealer yesterday morning and my trailer was ready. Was surprised to hear it was ready faster then expected. Dealer knew I wanted it before Busco and put a rush on it. I went by right after work and picked it up. Dealer fully checked everything and went over it thoroughly, made sure all the brakes where dialed in and worked with my brake controller. Glad I have a good dealer to take care of everything. I should have no problems now..

      Sharp look rig Dan!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

I like the tailgate ramp. Looks like it will a great puller.

Looks awesome Dan. Does it have the lift off sides like your buddy's trailer?

Nope. Sides are firmly mounted. I got it long enough to carry both, conquest & hustler 1 behind the other with room to tie down. Had to get it 76" wide so it would fit inside the gate to my back yard. Figured it to back in conquest then back in hustler. That would keep the loaded center of gravity at the 60/40 mark on the trailer to provide near perfect weight distribution.

Yeah it does look cool and pulls so nice even empty, never heard a sound from it even on bumpy parts of the road. My buddy's old 16' sounded like I was plowing the road when pulled empty.
