  • Ideas on getting a machine delivered

    Hi Folks
I'm seriously dealing with a guy who has a Max IV in mint condition and if I buy I need to have it transported from Phoenix to Minnesota. Any ideas on cost and companies that are good at this?
    Thanks

    Checkout uship.com

I had my argo delivered via uship and it was a great experience. Cost me about $500 for a 1000 mile trip in an uncovered trailer.

      Thanks
I've already been checking them out and I am trying to find somebody a little cheaper than 500.00.

That's really pretty reasonable and with fuel prices on the rise expect to see it go up from there, you might want to jump on it.

My past exeriences in things other than Maxes or other AATVs, anything under a grand is fair, but I doubt you could find anything under 500 bucks. If you did, I'd be leary of them if I were you.

Uship is prolly your best bet. 500 for 1000 miles is 2 bucks a mile. You could not drive there and pick it up your self for that.

Yes, Uship.com is your best option. You'd be lucky to get it for $500. There's no way that anyone would be able to do it any cheaper than that because then they wouldn't be making anything on it. You have to remember the cost of fuel, wear and tear, and all the other overhead costs that a shipper runs into.

Yea that's what I ment. Umm it was a typo. Lol 50 cents a mile is crazy. I drove to N. Carolina for mine. About 1100 miles or so rou d trip. Cost me 375 bucks in just fuel. And shot a day. I mean a hole day. Was about 18 hours round trip. I would gladly pay 500 just to save me the stress of the drive.

Yeah, uship.com is the way to go for sure. $500 would be a great price if you could pay that. As long as a potential shipper you are looking into has good reviews, a $500 bid would be the way I'd go!

Well, the deals off. My bids came in from uship and they are at $ 800.00. I'll have to look closer for a machine.

                          Update
I did buy the machine I wanted and did go with Uship. Thanks for the advice about Uship. I decided, after talking with u guys, that I would have to pay more. I ended up with a $700.00 price tag for shipping. The machine is getting picked up in AZ. this next week and should be here around the 21rst of March. Can't wait to get it.
