If the conquest is working well for you, why not pull a trailer? An amphibious trailer should "float over the mud just fine.

I like RD's suggestion. Also, after speaking with Matt O. of Mud-Ox over the weekend. I learned their new do model is coming out. I don't know the specs but its worth a call. Also, they do a lot of custom builds that the general public doesn't know about. I am sure its not cheap but if that thing RD won't work, at least its something to look into.

The MuddOx website says it has a 1,200 pound payload. With a driver, you're at the lower limit of your desired cargo capacity. Heck, even the Centaur is only rated at 1,500 pounds on land (and no longer rated as being fully "amphibious", but I know you're not looking for that). If you want a HEAVY payload capacity, but don't need to float, I'd go with something from Bombardier or Central Mining Equipment (and others are out there....) The 'Ox is a beast, but if you really want to (safely) load that much on a machine, you'd be safer getting something even more beefy. I've loaded some smaller track-mount CME 550 carriers to the hilt with about 20,000 (yeah, twenty thousand...) pounds, including the weight of the drill and traversed some pretty nasty terrain. The problem gets to be the cost of the unit, even in the used market.

What are you looking to haul?

    Work Vehicle Question

I need a tracked vehicle that can go through mud and swamp but doesn't need to be able to float. This vehicle will be used to carry heavy loads (1000-2000 lbs.). I am currently using an Argo conquest (with smaller loads) but need something designed more for work than for fun. Looking for any recommendations or suggestions.
