  • The start of a fleet

Picked up another hustler last week. It is whole but needs some work. Going to leave the Kohler 2 stroke in this one for the time being. Here are some pictures of what we play around on after it rains.

My max with a gx630. Guy showed up to the shop with it looking to sale. Ended up trading a 1972 kawaski 90cc motorcycle for it. I had previously traded a broken deer rifle for the motorcycle and had put 30$ parts in it to get it running. So I think i came out ahead since we had it running and driving in 45 min after he left.

The other hustler with a GX630. It has brand new everything pretty much. Wheels, tires, wring, belt, chains, bearings, throttle and choke cables, rebuilt t-20, relined bands, Gx630, bilge pump. Been dragging stuff around with it for a while trying to get something to break before it goes back to the owner. Would rather break it my self and fix it at the shop than have to go on a rescue run. Still need to do the body band and some other junk but ill have it ready for bow season.

The ugly one is the new one. Picked it up for a little more than 200$, with the bonus of it poping up 6 miles from my shop on craigslist. Couldn't get over there fast enough normally couple hundred miles away when i see them. Had the kohler running in about 2 hours (150/152 on the compression gauge), got to get the bands relined before i can rebuild the t-20 ( it came in a cardboard box in great shape other than the bands worn to nothing.) This one if going to be my business partners. He is talking about just putting a aluminum flat bed or something on the back.
