  • Engine braking

Ok. So the answer is probably right in front of me somewhere, but my ADD won't let me search for it anymore. So, do these machines (argo, max, attex, etc) have/use engine braking? My farm, and surrounding farms, are quite hilly, and one of the things I don't want in an off-road machine is to be constantly having to change brake pads. Or, worse yet, have to do like some of the side-by-side guys and accelerate to engage engine braking.
    Thanks!

Btw, I've never been a part of a site that answers questions, or helps others, as well as you guys and gals!

You just have to have enough rpm to engage the primary clutch for the engine braking to work but even at that you still won't have to replace brake pads as they are built into the trans for steering
