    found this on ebay and since some of us are getting older this looks like an attractive idea for our rides.

      I was thinking of doing something like this with some air filled vibration isolators that I have around. I've also got an automatic leveling valve I was going to see about throwing in there too. I'm so far from getting the rest of the machine going right now that it will be a while though.

        A typical quality suspension seat are very close in ride to an air chair .

          I just saved $150 by using tennis balls. lol
          Just kidding. Air ride seats are standard in semis. They do ride really well.

            And for some reason are quite heavy, I know, I've repaired enough of them. I would hazard a guess that with a little ingenuity it wouldn't be too difficult to make an air seat, and if you used air cylinders running up the back of the seat the overall height could be kept down.
