  • Buyer's Advice for First 6x6 ATV

I've always wanted a 6x6 and decided nows the time. I don't know yet what I want, what I'm asking you guys is what don't I want, What are some of things I should stay away from??I have a cabin on a slow moving river and There are a lot of logging roads so that is what it would be used for.

If you are planning on riding alone for extended periods of time I'd recommend a newer machine, preferably one from a company still in business. Some older machines are capable of taking you out for extended rides once serviced (rebuilt) such as the Attex, Hustler, Swampfox, and a couple others.
If you are looking to work the machine or put tracks on it, look for machines with 1-1/4 axles, Argo or Skid-steer transmissions or the hydros in a Mudd-Ox, poly bodies and four stroke engines.

If you're just gonna play close to the house it's all open to preference.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
