winch wires

I installed a 3000 lb. mile marker winch on the bigfoot. but the winch only has a remote, so if I need it I have to get ou and plug it in. not a big deal, but the owner before me had a warn winch on it and he left the rocker switch on the dash with the wires. Is there a way to wire them so I can use both? I don't know much about wiring. On the picture there are a black and green wire in the middle. those are the wires from the rocker switch. and the plug for the mile marker winch is on the left. Thanks guys! Seth

You should have not problem using the existing rocker switch and in fact will make it all easier (provided the PO had it worked right). Your Milemarker should have a schematic which shows you the switch wires you require. All you have is a positive (should be green) and ground (should be the black).

if it is a warn rocker it should plug right in. i have a mm 2500 on the new max and it works great . if i can figer out how to make this copyer scanner work i'll scane the paper work for you chapy.

there is a power wire going to the switch. I never saw it untill yesterday. I figured out that I can use wire conectors to plug on to the poles in the MM plug. Then when I need the remote i can take the wires off and plug it in. Thanks guys for the help again. Seth
