Just wondering if we have many members of aatv community that rally to the aid of those caught up in disasters such as the flooding going on in Florida. We have the right stuff.

I believe they'd be pretty much worthless down here. The currents are pretty stiff with the water trying to run off. All kinds of crap hidden in the water to snag you. I have never seen one used for rescue here in Florida but there may be some instances they could be helpful.

They're very useful in the snow. I'm actually on the list of volunteers for the Erie County Emergency Services in Western NY.

NJSP used them for first 3 days after Sandy until the water receded which was trapped on LBI and then used 2-1/2's, Mantoloking Borugh's machine has been used since the storm by the County Sherrif mostly to curb looter's and pull out stuck quads and side by side's.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
        Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

We use them to help transport lineman to remote utility sites when their normal paths are erased by flooding.

My friend does the same here for line inspections/repair and damage reports in areas where the power lines go through the local Hocamock (Devil's)Swamps here in MAss. and also during the winter when the few roads are impassable ...
