  • Looking for a certain picture "or" thread...

I have spent much time looking at the gallery and in the threads without luck. I am looking for a picture that someone had posted that shows a jig that was bolted in place of the tranny. On that jig was a section of threaded stock with a handel at one end, and the other end was a plug (of sorts) that was used to put pressure on the side of the tub. When pressure was applied to the tub with the jig, a heat gun was then used to rebend the tub to allow more room for the belt to slip around the clutch. Anyone able to help out?

Bridget, Whipper def. does some nice work.
rcn take into account that Whipper had no potential tire rub issue with the springer, you may/will require spacers on a stock machine.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Bridget, that was the one. Thanks for showing it to me. No sense in re-making the wheel if someone has already done it. I'm making that jig today to give me a bit more room. Jim, I'll keep that in mind. It shouldn't be an issue since mine had the spacers on it already due to the Argo tracks. But I'll have to keep in mind that the tracks may run right where I plan to put that "bump". I believe my t-20 sits lower in the tub than the one in the picture. As long as the bump doesn't get near the area where the tracks run, I should be ok.
