Thanks for all the help guys! After reading through all the info here, and everyone's comments, i decided an 8x8 was best for my situation. After a lot of searching I found an 03 Conquest about 4.5 hours away. It came with Plastic Argo tracks w/ice cleats, windshield & top, brush guard, winch, heater, bilge pump, alternator, outboard mount, and a 17' long v-nosed 8.5' wide snowmobile trailer. It has 450 hours on it and was really clean.

I do have a few items to address here shortly, all the chains need adjustment (and all the self adjusters appear to be froze up). And i really need to pull the tracks off cause the ice cleats are not friendly to our asphalt drive.

Now off to the Argo specific section to figure out how to fix these derned adjusters! :-D

That seems like a good deal.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.

LOL, so true! I spent many years bombing the woods in my dad's Max II as a teenager, he's the one who got me into the outdoors and the love of playing in the woods . . . but then I got a job and got addicted to speed so i bought a sport quad. But, I've always had a place in my heart for the flexibility of these machines. We lost dad just before Thanksgiving this year, he would have really loved this Argo! So, its even deeper than a love for the outdoors, the motor vehicle hobby, and being able to go pretty much anywhere I want, its also a bit of an homage to him. Anyway, I took my wife out for a ride in it yesterday . . . granted we only have 5 acres so not a whole lot of space . . . but with the wide tracks and no trails through our woods it was a bit tricky. Well, we made it about 15 feet into the woods and i ran over about 6 saplings and she was freaking out . . . so we'll need to find something a little calmer to break her into the sport. LOL, it was great fun! She's a little jerky right now, the tracks don't help that, but pretty much everything is out of adjustment. I think this will make a great work/play vehicle!
