  • How did you get out?

Just wondering, how many times have you looked at a spot that you wanted to cross that is a swamp, muck, mud, trees and whatever. You sit and look at it and go ahhh just just do it. Then buried it halfway in. Now mind you this is when you are by yourself. How did you get it out? I got stories that would make you think I might be crazy...oh wait a minute, I am!!

Strap a tree across the Tracks at the front of the machine. Drive forward, the tracks will drag the tree down under the machine (Basically, you drive over the tree). Don't forget to unstrap the tree when it comes up at the back of the machine, lol.

    This works too

I don't ride without my wife. She's fun to be with. We got stuck in fresh muck last July 4. We dug out part of a buried log and tied a rope around it and winched out.
A few weeks ago we buried a 4 foot log and winched out.

            Tracks are loose!

That doesn't look like a factory helo lift kit, obviously works though. Wonder if that's on the way in or out.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.

Got stuck in a swamp looking for duck holes and there was only one tree and it was behind me. Had about 25' of rope, ran it around my hitch and tied both ends around tree, took a stick and went through the rope in the middle between the tree and the max and began twisting the rope with the stick and to my surprise it pulled it right out.

I make it a point to never ride by myself. It's not any fun even if you don't get stuck.

                      walk of shame

Was not paying attention. Stuck in a sawdust swamp. Dug for a 1/2 an hour then walked 20 minutes got truck and trailer hooked to trailer came out real easy then.
I managed to get the right side on some slush and mush and boards and rocks but could not un saddle bag it. What the ---- is the winch for/ decorations if not hooked up LOL sorry about the picks. The sawdust pile was dug up some last year and can be a bottomless bog. I seen a pedal bike never recovered from 1 when I was a kid

The one time I got stuck I was trying to climb an icey hill side. With the tracks on I just slid backwards into a tree. Washing up and could not get out. The winch came off drum and was a tangled mess. So I had to be pulled out by a 4wheeler. Very embarrassing.

Got stuck at Busco Beach yesterday in a swamp between the lakes.
No tracks going in told me no one was trying it. Got about 3 ft. And sank like quicksand.
Flagged down a 4 wheeler and he gladly pulled me out.
With tracks I would have crossed it!

I was back about 5 miles where nobody knew I was. I came to a BIG braver dam. I thought about it (for about 5 minutes) then went for it. On going over I found it a lot steeper then I thought. I thought I better try to get back out and man I was in for a surprise. The wall of the beaver dam was so high I kept hitting the lower body into it before the tires could get a grip. I finally got it at an angle then one wheel stuck up on the dam. I jumped out and found the only tree that was available and not quite big enough but didn't have any other trees around. I winched to that tree and pulled the tree over just as I got out. Man, I hate riding by myself. But there is nobody around with 6 wheelers up here in the north country. I won't do that again. Oh, and sort of funny but I really upset the beaver, he kept coming close to me and slapping his tail. He at one point came within about 10 feet of me. I thought now (explain that when a beaver attacks you) how do you tell the guys about that one. The hard part would be convincing them it was a real live animal beaver!!
