Starting today I am teaching a three day Summer Camp at the local technical school. I thought it would be fun for my students to learn about 6x6's so we are going to rebuild an Attex. I will keep you posted.

I spoke to a lady over the weekend who teaches at Tech Shop Pittsburgh (fabrication equipment sharing/ educational spaces) about 6x6 racing, they thought building a racer would be an interesting idea too.

Update!
Had a great day today with the students! They really go into it and got much further along then I thought they would. They have lots of ideas and want to paint the machine white with blue stripes. I wasn't planning to do anything like that but what the heck! They are having fun and working hard so why not right?"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

More Pics
Here are some more pics. They wouldn't all fit on the first update. More to come and maybe a video when it is completed!"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Update!
Had some trouble figuring out how the chains go. I think I have it figured out but if someone had a diagram to show me I would really appreciate it. The machine is an old 1968 machine with a Baker Hill transmission. I think if I am doing it correctly there are 6 chains."Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."

Update!
Well, the kids got the machine together but we couldn't get it started before the day was over. When I get it home I will get it running and bring it to Pine Lake in the fall. They had a really good time and did get to ride in my other machine. Great time by all!"Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting."
