Starting today I am teaching a three day Summer Camp at the local technical school. I thought it would be fun for my students to learn about 6x6's so we are going to rebuild an Attex. I will keep you posted.

I spoke to a lady over the weekend who teaches at Tech Shop Pittsburgh (fabrication equipment sharing/ educational spaces) about 6x6 racing, they thought building a racer would be an interesting idea too.

Had a great day today with the students! They really go into it and got much further along then I thought they would. They have lots of ideas and want to paint the machine white with blue stripes. Update!
Had some trouble figuring out how the chains go. I think I have it figured out but if someone had a diagram to show me I would really appreciate it. The machine is an old 1968 machine with a Baker Hill transmission. I think if I am doing it correctly there are 6 chains."Racing is life. Well, the kids got the machine together but we couldn't get it started before the day was over. When I get it home I will get it running and bring it to Pine Lake in the fall.
